【News】 HAL received the world-first certificates of an international safety standard as wearable robots for workers and caregivers

 New products, “HAL for Labor Support (Lumbar type)” and “HAL for Care Support (Lumbar type)” of CYBERDYNE Inc. (“the Company”), simultaneously received the world-first Certificates of ISO 13482: 2014 the international safety standard for personal care robots and robotic devices as wearable robots for workers and caregivers from Japan Quality Assurance Organization (“JQA”).

In order to get the certificates the Company utilized outputs, such as data management necessary for safety design and certification, from “Project for Practical Applications of Service Robots” of New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (“NEDO”)of Japan, in which the Company participates.

These certificates of ISO 13482 prove that these products satisfy the international safety standards for personal care robots and will contribute to the global diffusion of the products.
