(Changes to disclosed item) Notice on decision to sign business consignment agreement concerning SIP

As CYBERDYNE Inc. (the “Company) announced on December 5, 2023, under the title of “Notice on decision to sign business consignment agreement concerning SIP,” the “Company was selected for the next Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) Third Phase: Development of Fundamental Technologies, the Establishment of Common Systems, Rules, and Regulation for the Expansion of Human Collaborative Robotics, Theme 6: Development of Social Implementation Technologies for HCPS* Integrated Human Collaborative Robotics to Solve Social Issues” that is led by the Council for Science, Technology, and Innovation (the Cabinet Office of Japan). While the company signed the business consignment agreement with the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), which is acting as a Research Promotion Organization, additional research areas were decided to be consigned to the company, leading to the signing of a change of contracts. Details are as follows.

There is no change in the R&D period from the initial disclosure.

2　Prospect
The amount of revenue generated due to consigned research and development will be determined after the evaluation by NEDO. For FY2023, the Company is scheduled to post ¥219 million (The amount has changed from the initial expectation, which was ¥332 million, as budget execution is expected to be carried over to the next fiscal year.
