【News】CYBERDYNE won the MEXT award in the 7th Technology Management and Innovation Awards

CYBERDYNE, INC. won the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology- Japan (MEXT) award for its product “Robot Suit HAL” in the 7th Technology Management and Innovation Award hosted by Japan Techno-Economics Society (JATES).

The aim of the Technology Management and Innovation Award is to honor and present examples of great innovation with potentials to reform the society. It is also presented to promote innovation and economical growth in Japan. All sorts of innovations, such as commercialization of unique technologies, standardization, open technology development, collaboration between academia and industry or between companies, are eligible candidates of this award. “Robot Suit HAL” was chosen for the aforementioned award, out of over 100 applications.
