【News】The production base in Koriyama City are now registered as medical device manufacturer

CYBERDYNE Inc. [Tsukuba, Ibaraki, CEO: Yoshiyuki Sankai (the “Company”)] announced that its Next-generation Multipurpose Robot Production Base (the “Facility”) in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture was registered as a Medical Device Manufacturer on April 17, 2020. The Company received the license from the Fukushima Prefecture following this event.
The Company regards the facility to be the next-generation facility to manufacture the Company’s products through utilization of Cybernics Technology, so that robots that have incorporated the skills of experienced skilled workers alongside human workers. Following this registration, the Company will manufacture various Cybernics Devices such as medical devices at the headquarter building in Tsukuba and also at the Facility.
