CYBERDYNE Inc. [Tsukuba, Ibaraki, CEO: Yoshiyuki Sankai (the “Company”)] in coordination with Kumamoto Kinoh Hospital [Kumamoto city, Kumamoto Prefecture, chairman: Koichiro Yonemitsu], a hospital that is part of medical corporation Juryo *1 , and the CYBERDYNE’s subsidiary Oita Robocare Center, announced to open Kumamoto Robocare Center in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
Similar to other Robocare Centers, Kumamoto Robocare Center became the 16th center to offer the Neuro HALFIT service to visitors with reduced physical function or visitors with a disability, in order to induce improvement in the function of the brain-nerve systems. In this program, Wearable Cyborg HAL is put on wearers who have difficulty standing, sitting or walking on their own, to support movements based on the wearer’s own intent of movement.
For the Neuro HALFIT program offered in the related Robocare Centers, some private insurance contracts*2 and shareholder benefits*3 can be used. Upon using the aforementioned scheme, there are certain conditions, which would be applied, so please check the appendix for the details.

HALFIT Service
The policy holder Kaigo relief (whole life care insurance) Kaigo relief alpha (whole life care insurance) and Shunyu relief (nursing care income insurance) will be entitled to the coverage of entire cost of 3 Neuro HALFIT sessions at Robocare Centers. Applicable policy holder must have a certificate between “Needed Support 1 to Needed Care 2” under the public long-term care insurance system.
