Treatment with Medical HAL in Brooks Cybernic Treatment Center featured in a TV program

Treatment with HAL for Medical Use Lower Limb Type that CYBERDYNE,INC. disseminates was featured in a US TV program, Inside Edition*. Inside Edition interviewed two patients that is going through gait intervention training program with HAL in Brooks Cybernic Treatment Center, which opened in Jacksonville Florida on March 2, 2018. Mr. Derick Amaral and Mr. Maverick Moody spoke about their impression of HAL Treatment and their goals.

Mr. Maverick Moody
“I mean it is great. Especially HAL because I’ve walked in other exoskeletons but with HAL, you’re controlling the robot. Where everything else, you’re trying to adapt and adjust its walking pattern and gait. HAL is 100% you’re controlling it and moving it with any intended movement that you could make.”

Mr. Derrick Amaral
“It’s amazing. It’s pretty cool, I love it. I feel very futuristic but most importantly, I’m happy that there’s new technology out there to help people with very difficult injuries.”
“Some days are easier than others, some days are harder than others. But I never give up because there is always light at the end of the tunnel.”
